Join us for our 23rd Annual ABC Walk/Run November 7, 2015 !!

ABC stands for “Awareness Breast Cancer,” and Zonta encourages you to join in with the hundreds of expected Runners and Walkers for this year’s event on Saturday, November 7, 2015

Start Time:                 8:00 AM – Salute Restaurant  1000 Atlantic Blvd. Higgs Beach

Pre-Registration:       Online until Friday, November 6th at 4 PM                                         

                                    Thursday, November 5 at the Meeting of the Minds Registration

Registration:                 Friday, November 6, 4 – 6 PM – at Salute                                      

                                       Race day, 7:00 AM – at Salute  

Entry fee: Pre-Registration: $25 online and in person is $30, $20 for 12 and under (Includes T-shirt for first 500 entrants).

New this year:  50/50 chance drawing and a silent auction after the race!

Zonta says NO to violence against women

On Wednesday November 5, The City of Key West joined Zontians around the world and the Zonta Club of Key West to proclaim that on November 25, 2014 and during the “16 Days of Activism” all citizens are urged to support work to end violence against women and to eliminate the detrimental consequences is has on the well-being of our community.

The Zonta Club of Key West held their school supplies drive to benefit two different locations: Poinciana and the Keys Center Academy.

Tiffany Ftacek awarded Martina Thurmond Scholarship!

Tiffany Ftacek has been awarded the first Zonta Club of Key West’s Martina Thurmond Ongoing Education Scholarship.

This scholarship is designed to assist a woman, at least 30 years old, who is interested in advancing in her current career or making a career change through
continuing education. Zonta partnered with FKCC to award a $1,500 scholarship to a new attendant or enrolled student of FKCC.
